Golden diesel

  1. 1.  Imitating the process of nature to create artificial diesel, electricity GOLDEN DIESEL
  2. 2. ONE PRODUCTION PROCESS - MULTIPLE BENEFITS for people planet profit
  3. 3. people planet profit NO MORE FUEL VERSA FOOD GOLDEN DIESEL requires only remains from agricultural and forestry production or shredded input material from plants and shrubs that grow in soil, not suitable for food production. Lower priced clean diesel Lower priced electricity
  4. 4. people planet profit GOLDEN DIESEL does not require water for the production process. To the contrary, it produces some amount of grey water as a bi-product, which can be used for watering the fields. Therefore production plants can be set-up in arid areas. GOLDEN DIESEL is produced in a closed-circuit production facility and therefore produces absolutely no environmental pollution, neither to the air nor the grounds. GOLDEN DIESEL can be set-up in off-grid locations. The production requires merely a generator to get started with production and will thereafter use diesel (10-15%) for electricity from its own production.
  5. 5. people planet profit GOLDEN DIESEL can use all types of polythene materials, municipal garbage, waste oil from ships, vehicle service-stations... with a 25% mix of biomass. GOLDEN DIESEL can be produced in production facilities of various sizes placed throughout rural communities. The diesel for transport or electricity, produced with this diesel, is then also available in those communities and transport costs can be saved for both input material and finished product. GOLDEN DIESEL can be used for any type of engine and does not require any modifications. Golden diesel drastically reduces emissions from vehicles .
  6. 6. people planet profit We all benefit GOLDEN DIESEL produces an above average profit High conversion rate of input material: 70-80% of hydrocarbon content, makes the process efficient and profitable
  7. 7. Model KDV 150: produces 130 -150 liter / hour Annual production 6,000 – 8,000 hrs per year Requires about 600 kg input material per hour Model KDV 500: Produces 500 liter / hour Annual production 6,000 hrs (1st year) to 8,000 hrs per year from 3rd year onwards Requires about 36 tons per day Input materials: Solid input material needs to be prepared:  dehydration  shredded to small size
  8. 8. The KDV technology Depolymerization is a process for the reduction of complex organic materials into light crude oil. The KDV process is not a pyrolysis reaction (the process commonly in use), and therefore no coke formation occur s and no exhaust is being sent into the environment. Under pressure and heat, long chain polymers of hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon decompose into short-chain petroleum hydrocarbons with a maximum length of around 18 carbons. As the temperature is kept below 400°C, ranging from 250285°, production of carbon dioxide, dioxins, and furan is avoided.
  9. 9. The KDV plant structure Sludge Plant This is the preparation module. The solid input material is fed into this unit. This module has been designed to convert the solid feedstock into "sludge" before it is taken to the main core of the plant, where the KDV process takes place. Main Core Module This is the first module designed by Alphakat. In this unit the "sludge" is heated up with the turbine reactors. The resulting diesel vapors are taken to the main distillation column and then on to the main condensers in order to produce diesel in liquid form. Ash Plant All the remaining inorganics coming in our feedstock come to this unit where the remaining hydrocarbons are removed and the rest remains in the form of ashes.
  10. 10. Genset Unit In this module there is a generator set (genset) that produces the energy needed to drive the process. There are also heat exchangers that take advantage of the heat in the exhaust gases and the resulting heat is used to heat up the thermal oil circuits. Desulphurization Module This is an optional module. Depending on the feedstock, the resulting diesel can have a high sulphur content. The desulphurization module is then used to remove the sulphur from the diesel. Some countries have very tough sulphur limit regulations for all fuel for transportation purposes, so this unit reduces the sulphur to the acceptable level. Water purification Unit Waste water will be purified so that it can be used for agricultural purposes (not included in drawing).
