(Thanks for the introduction) it’s an honor to return to the crime scene- one of my first major consulting projects was here in Milwaukee in 1978 with Allen Bradley- seven years before they were acquired by Rockwell for 1.65 Billion. I led three major consulting projects. The first was for the board of directors- a major strategic study on the transition from electro-mechanical controls to solid state controls. They like that so much that I ran two follow-up projects- one on resistors and the other for numerical controls.
How did I get a chance to do such interesting projects?
If they have the magic- he called this normal science- and the research community grows. If they don’t- he called them pre-paradigmatic research communities. He also referred to them as immature.
And the analysis of proposals at the University of Michigan ha motivated me to jump again. into a puddle- where I’ll probably flop around for awhile But on the off-chance that there are people here who might be interested in where I’m going next- here’s the summary
