  3. 3.  Performing & Visual Arts has quadrupled in enrollment as the institution has matured in its role as a University.  2013-14 UVU awarded the third largest number of Bachelor Degrees within USHE in Visual & Performing Arts. • UofU: 346 (45.8%) • USU: 142 (18.8%) • UVU: 130 (17.2%)

  8. 8. $20.4 million donations  $16.4 million – donated funds  $4 million – additional funds to raise  $30 million - state appropriation  $50.4 million total project cost

Current Space Utilization  97,000 square feet for the arts  Technology and Computing will receive 20,000 square feet when the arts building is completed  30,000 square feet of space remodeled for the Dance Department in the physical education building  12,000 square feet in the Clyde Institute returned to construction management department

Utah Valley University  Utah Valley University is the only USHE institution that does not have a Performing & Visual Arts facility  This is the missing piece on the central campus to creating a comprehensive university  Utah Valley University & School of the Arts was granted conditional accreditation on the premise the institution was building new facilities  Strong community engaged support  Regional home for the Arts
