Fairy Tale ABCs

  2. 3. Tons of Tales <ul><li>This unit will focus on fairy tales. The students will compare, contrast and analyze fairy tales from different countries. The students will create a fairy tale of their own and present it on a power point. </li></ul>
  3. 4. Objectives <ul><li>Students will be able to compare & contrast characteristics of fairy tales </li></ul><ul><li>Students will appreciate literature more having some background knowledge and history as a foundation to understanding it </li></ul>
  4. 5. Fairy Tales <ul><li>Fairy Tales are stories that tell of miraculous and fantastic happenings.. </li></ul>
  5. 6. Characters <ul><li>The main character in fairy tales are often supernatural and can do all sorts of extraordinary things </li></ul>
  6. 7. Characters <ul><li>These beings could be creatures such as fairies, goblins, elves, giants, trolls, leprechauns, witches, and wizards. </li></ul>
  7. 8. Settings <ul><li>Fairy Tales can take place anywhere at any time. </li></ul>
