Purpose of this policy is to establish Garrison-level EQCC in USAG Red Cloud and
Area I. The EQCC assists the USAG Commander to proper management of
environmental protection in USAG Red Cloud and Area I. EQCC functions as an
advisory body to the USAG Red Cloud and Area I for all aspects of environmental
compliance, compliance clean up, pollution prevention, and natural and cultural
resources.

References: a. Army Regulation (AR) 200-1, 13 December 2007, Environmental Protection and ' Enhancement. b. USFK Regulation 201-1, 18 June 2012, Environmental Governing Standards. 2. Purpose of this policy is to establish Garrison—level EQCC in USAG Red Cloud and Area I. The EQCC assists the USAG Commander to proper management of environmental protection in USAG Red Cloud and Area I. EQCC functions as an advisory body to the USAG Red Cloud and Areal for all aspects of enviromriental compliance, compliance clean up, pollution prevention. and natural and cultural resources. 3. This policy applies to all staff, directorate, units, tenant offices, and other organizations within USAG Red Cloud and Area I. 4. The major functions of EQCC are: a. Assess environmental compliance programs and projects covered in Environmental Governing Standards. b. Coordinate activities of the environmental programs and projects with tenant units, activities, and organizations. c. Advise the USAG Red Cloud Commander on environmental priorities, policies, strategies, and programs. 5. Procedures: a. USAG Red Cloud and Areal establishes EQCC chaired by the Garrison Commander. b. The EQCC will include major and sub-installations and tenant activities. c. Committee Members: EQCC members represent the operational, engineering, planning, resource management, medical, and safety and environmental interests of the command (is.

Members should be individuals knowledgeable in the subject areas that can actively participate in the planning meetings. d. Function: The EQCC coordinates activities of environmental programs covered in AR 200-1 and USFK Regulation 201-1 and should discuss environmental actions and activities happened the previous quarter (POL spill clean up, HAZMAT removal, etc. ), focus on hot topics in the environmental areas (asbestos abatement, oil water separators, etc. ), and what measures will be taken in the future to resolve issues or systemic environmental problems which were identified from previous quarters. The Garrison Commander may direct topics of discussion for command emphasis. e. EQCCs meet at least quarterly and document decisions. 6.
