To analyze the efficiency of the Communicative
Language Teaching Approach being used in the
Conversational English for the Commercial Sector in
order to improve its program design.

characteristics of the students who are registering at this type
of English programs.

at INA for understanding the methodology in which

14. Conclusions:
Written, pronunciation and listening exercises
should be more practical for the students to enrich
their English level.
The educational materials provided should be
modified so students can provide higher academic
scores.
The program should include a variety of
strategies and activities to achieve even better
results from the population who is being trained.
Teachers should also take students experiences
and suggestions into account to enhance the
weakness points based on the study.

15. Recommendations:
The Assessment instruments that are applied to
the students should be more structured.
There should be some standardization procedure
in the selection of items and length of the tests,
quizzes, and homework.
There should be more monitoring evaluations
from the teachers and for the students to become
more comfortable with evaluation criteria.
Regarding to the listening, the best suggestion is
to supply students with the best audio-materials.

pronunciation skills through the use of listening activities for
communicative purposes.
