<ul><li>The Colour of the title has the connotations of metal and if you have seen the film then you would know that it contrasts with the mechanical machines. </li></ul><ul><li>By having the main character’s name in bold and capitals it shows the audience how dominant he will be in the film. </li></ul><ul><li>The red writing has the connotations of danger and evil. In the film he is evil but he tries to save a human who is a target for another machine. </li></ul><ul><li>By having one character in the poster it makes them stand out and shows the audience that they are going to be the main character and that he is going to be the character that the audience will follow. </li></ul><ul><li>The gun shows violence and power/dominance that the character will have over his rivals. </li></ul><ul><li>The glasses show the audience that the character is very secretive and does not want to be identified. </li></ul><ul><li>The black and red background shows danger and makes him stand out on the poster. </li></ul><ul><li>The black leathers that he wears shows that he is very dark and mysterious. It also shows he is very dominant and power in everything he does. </li></ul><ul><li>By having the character not smiling at all it shows that he is very serious and nobody should mess with him. </li></ul><ul><li>By having the top of the leather jacket undone it shows the audience his muscular figure and it intimidates everybody who looks at him. </li></ul>Having his finger on the trigger of the gun can shows everyone that he is ready for batter and is able to shoot at anything. <ul><li>The leathers over his hands are used to penetrate anyone he punches as the leathers and rip through human skin and flesh. </li></ul>
The title makes the film look like is going to be a child film and is about a baby as it has the blocks that youngsters play with to build up their spelling ability. Actual Film Poster. The young girl in this picture is wearing her hair in two side pony tails which is a very young hair style. The girl looks like she does not do as she is told by anyone and only thinks for herself. By having the girl drinking a drink and trying to smile makes the film look cheesy. By having a business– like women on the poster shows the audience that the film is going to be sophisticated. This ties in with the other character in the poster as she looks like she is very immature and does not want to do anything anyone says. The businesswomen’s eyes are looking at the young girl behind her. This shows the audience that she has to keep a close eye on her as she can get into mischief. The audience can see who is the dominant character between the two and also the businesswomen is the boss over the young girl. But by looking at the young girl she does not respect the older people but on the other hand she tries to look sweet and innocent in the poster.
This shows the audience who the main characters are and if you have seen the film then you would know that the conflict is between them two. Title – MONSTER is used instead of mother because it can indicate that she is not the nicest of people to meet just like Charley (Jennifer Lopez) finds out in the film. This slogan is used to drag the audience to watch the film as a young lady finds the man she has always wanted, however when she meets his mother then all hell brakes loose. By having the groom stood up tall on his own it looks like he is waiting for the perfect girl and then wants to marry her as soon as he can. This shows the audience that someone is trying to make the bride feel as small as possible because they do not want the groom to marry her. By using the finger it indicates that it would be really easy to make her feel small and low to the ground. With the bride inside the cake it represents vulnerability and shows that people try to reduce the chance of her marrying the handsome groom. Actual Poster The cake is used to shows the audience there is going to be a wedding but what they do not know is it may be good or bad.
<ul><li>The Creepy, Bold phrase at the top of the poster shows the audience that the characters in the film are going to be afraid and surprises are going to happen. </li></ul><ul><li>The characters’ facial expressions show the audience how they react to ghost, goblins and monsters in the film even thought they do not exist. </li></ul><ul><li>By having the green smoke behind the title of the film creates a spooky scene upon the whole film. </li></ul><ul><li>The uneven title shows a sense of confusion and anxiety as the title if not in a straight line and it can also represent musical notes pitching higher and lower. </li></ul><ul><li>The dark ghost like figure behind them can indicate that they are always being followed by something that is creepy. </li></ul><ul><li>By having the dark figure behind them it shows that he is very mysterious and does not want to be revealed but if you have seen any of the film they always find a ways to capture the bad guys. </li></ul><ul><li>Almost every film poster has the character or film stars’ names on it to shows the audience who is in the film. </li></ul><ul><li>The characters’ body language also shows how scared or dominant they are. </li></ul><ul><li>The light behind the dark figure can indicate that there is always hope to find a way to save the planet. </li></ul>
The light on Peter Pan’s face contrasts between light and dark. The light on his face shows the audience there is hope for him to save Netherland but the dark also says that they will danger upon him. There is similar light on Wendy’s face. When she is with peter grave danger is coming for her. With these two shots they are looking down which could indicate that they are the two survivors and they are looking down at Captain Hook. Title – It is in capitals so that it stands out and the letter are not joined together so you can read the title clearly. With these two images on either side of the poster, it shows the audience that a conflict happens between the two sides. You can see that the good side is the lighter of the two which indicates that they will be the eventual winners and the others will be defeated. The shinning on Captain Hook’s hook demonstrates that the hook is very clean and respected by himself and that it is very sharp – it can cut through anything! This punch line is used to drag people in to watch the film and that they will never forget what happened even if they do not watch it ever again. Actual Film Poster <ul><li>This film poster does not have the Characters’ names on it. </li></ul>If you have seen the cartoon version of the film then you would know that Tinker bell is the reason why Wendy, John and Michael are in danger when they are in Netherland because she helps captain hook find where Peter’s Hide out is. She lights everything up which can indicate that she does help Peter defeat Captain Hook in the end. The skull-cross in the ships indicates that when you see this sign Captain Hook or any of his crew is near and danger is arising. All the characters’ facial expression show the audience when they are scared, angry, determined to hurt someone, a very loving person or curious about something strange .
With the Disney logo on the top of the title the audience will who whether it is a kids film or not and it promotes the Disney channel. The 101 is in a Dalmatian like pattern to show the audience it is going to be about dogs but not just any dog DALMATIANS!! This is the main character and by having it at the top of the poster it shows the audience that she is going to be the main character but also the villain. This is what Cruella Deville drives and by having all the puppies over loading the car it indicates that she wants as many Dalmatians as she can get to make her lovely new costume. <ul><li>If you have seen the film then you would know that she does manage to dognap over 100 dogs but in the end the dogs run away, she follows them but is captured by the police. </li></ul>The Cruella Deville house is in the distance to shows the audience that the puppies do actually escape such a big house alive as they could get lost in a mansion. Cruella’s facial expression indicates that she is evil and loves to kill any animal with patterned fur. E.g. Tigers and Dalmatians. Her hair is the colours of Dalmatians which means she is obsessed with patterns. This slogan tells the audience that Cruella Deville has so many dogs to skin but does not have a lot of time to do it in but she does not even have the chance to do that because all of the 99 puppies and two fully grown Dalmatians (101 Dalmatians) manage to escape from her two workers, Jasper and Horace There are lots of puppies hanging over the top of the wall which shows that Cruella has dog napped a lot of dogs to achieve her goal. <ul><li>The moon in the background can indicate that she wants to kill them at night time as everyone is asleep and no body will here them as Cruella’s house is nowhere near any other house. </li></ul><ul><li>The puppies on her shoulder can shows that she really likes to feel the puppies and she does not want anyone else to touch them. </li></ul>
Represents the Boat that they are on throughout the whole film. This is the slogan that the directors decided to use as the couple are inseparable during the film even though the ship sinks. By having the title looking like it is made out of steel, it indicates to the audience that it has a relation to the film as the Titanic Ship is made out of steel. Due to the film being called Titanic and the ship is called the Titanic Ship, the producers thought it would be a brilliant idea to make the title look like it is part of the ship which has been carved out. Actor’s/actress’s name to illustrate to the audience who the two main characters are that will be in love through the duration of the film. Showing the information about who the characters’ are, who makes the film etc. This demonstrates that Leonardo is very much in love with Kate but during the film Kate is pressured by her fiancé not to even look at her new lover. This may be the reason why the producers’ decided have Kate facing the opposite way so the audience may get the idea of her rejecting the new life she may have with her hansom man. The boat represents their romantic cruse that is going to end will be the last time they may see each other again. If you have seen the film then you will know that the Titanic ship hits an ice berg which creates a massive hole and the ship sinks below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean.
Actual Film Poster By having the two main characters, looking like they are lying of the floor, it gives the impression that they are having a romantic time looking at they stars in the sky. The characters’ name are written on the poster so the audience can establish who the main lovers are going to be in the film. Description about the film and the characters’ names etc. The couple have their hands close together to create that sense of romance between them. This is the name of them film. They used the word “Heaven” so that the audience can feel that the couple are feeling free and can do anything together without any hassle. The flowers represents the love between the couple and also the amount of flowers that are seen can indicate how much he is in love with her. This is the punch line that they used. It drags the audience in because they may want to know whether or not love really does bring you back.
This is the actor/actresses names. This is so the audience can establish who are the main characters in the film. This is the title of the film. They have used two different colours to represent the two women that the guy falls for This is used so the audience can see that this film was rated the best “American Drama” of the year. This can show the audience that the man is not interested in this women as they are not as close to each other. Here the man is with the other women and as you can see he is really close to her so this shows that he is more attracted to her in the film and decides to live with her. The background of each of the photos can illustrate that the man is really open with the blonde women and wants everyone to see them together but the other photo indicates that he wants a lot of privacy with the brunette and likes to be alone with her as often as he can. This is to show the production, actors and actresses, when it is made and more information about the film so people know when who made it and when it may be coming out.
Shot types <ul><li>I am going to use a range of shots so that my trailer has variety. The types of shots I am going to use are establishing shot, close ups, mid shots, long shots, low angle shots, extreme close and long shots and high angle shots. </li></ul><ul><li>An establishing shots shows the audience where the film is going to be set and also shows them whether the place is creepy or very dull. </li></ul><ul><li>A close-up shot is when the camera is showing a small part of an area. E.g. face and neck. This can be used to show detail on something when you cannot see it from far away. </li></ul><ul><li>A low-angle shot shows the audience that something is very tall and is more dominant/powerful than them. This can be used to show dominance when someone is on the floor crying or being bullied. </li></ul><ul><li>A mid-shot is when the camera is showing half of an object. E.g. Top of a human’s body not showing their legs. </li></ul><ul><li>A high-angle shot shows the audience that something is very small and vulnerable. This can be used to shows vulnerability when someone is very tall standing over someone or something </li></ul><ul><li>A long shots is when the camera is showing all of the object it is trying to show. E.g. All of a person’s body. This can be used to show how big a place is or someone trying to perform a trick. </li></ul><ul><li>An extreme close-up is when the camera is showing a very small detail as big as it can. E.g. an animals eyes. This can be used to intimidate others to scare them. </li></ul>

Target Audience My target audience is going to be between the ages of 15 to 20 years. Just because I chose to target people within that age group does not mean it is going to be a “15” certificate. It just establishes that the content within it will be for people with more maturity, however younger people would be able to watch a “15” certificate film. A “12” certificate film would also be appropriate as the level of romantic gestures would be on the low so by having a “15” certificate would make it over rated. I have decided to focus our target audience on a middle-aged group because there are a lots of films targeted at this age group. For example: St Trinians. This is a Chick Flick film that is about a school of crazy teenagers and youngsters that have to combine knowledge, trends to win a competition to stop the government form closing down their school due to bankruptcy. There is a lot of violence and unpleasant words used so it was given a 15 certificate. My film would have a few unpleasant words but not many and would have a bit of violence due to the man attacking one his female lovers to demonstrate that he does not want anything else to do with her so I would give my film a 12A certificate.
Twisted Obsession. Twisted Obsession is going to be the name of our film. Story Line. Fernando Rodriguez, has an obsession with two women. He has been going out with Sydney Johnson for ten years but also likes her best mate, Phoebe Turner. Fernando has a choice to make but what was the choice…
Characters Sydney Johnson – Played by Jade Gamlin. Sydney is Fernando’s girl friend who has been going out with him for ten years but does not know that he also likes her best mate, Phoebe. Fernando Rodriguez – Played by Chris Davolls. Fernando is an obsessed man who has to choose which girl he wants for the rest of his life. Phoebe Turner – Played by Sophie Nevins. Phoebe is Sydney’s best friend who is the other women who Fernando wants to be with.

<ul><li>On the magazine front cover there is no extra information about any celebrities as the picture is very demanding and takes up the whole of the front cover. </li></ul><ul><li>This is used to show the audience that this is the first magazine front cover to be in 3-D ever to be issued. </li></ul><ul><li>The date is always placed within the “M” because it is nonintrusive. </li></ul><ul><li>This is a unique way to give the magazine editors a sense of variation. </li></ul><ul><li>The front cover appeals to the consumers as it is showing that the Incredible Hulk is physically powerful enough to unleash his ferocity towards his victims. </li></ul>The title is in CAPITALS which highlights his ascendency over the other characters. The green writing reflects the colour of the main colour. UNLEASHED is used to indicated that the beast is going to be unleashed into the public. This represents his anger towards the audience which signifies that he is the antagonist in the film.
The fiery title drags the audience in as it is an unique way of presenting a film. Like the other two magazine front covers I have analysed The date of issue and the price is between the ‘M’. This shows the audience that the magazine do have their trademarks on where they place information on the cover. Also the barcode is at a vertical angle however it is on the left hand side of this magazine front cover to indicate that the producer do have variety within their thoughts. Apart from the main title, the film title is the biggest and boldest writing to shows the audience the title of the film that is being advertised. Here is a list of more interesting facts to read about. This is used so that the consumers have more than one thing to read and makes them interested to read the nest issue. Hellboy is the only picture on the front cover to demonstrate that he is the main character of the film. By having him punching his hand it illustrates that he means business and if someone does a bad deed, they will have to deal with him. The creators of the magazine decided to have the slogan in a different language so that the audience can find out what it means during the film and keep them on the edge of their seat. Also the fiery title indicates that there will be danger to those who mess with Hellboy and they will feel his raft towards them.
Logo Design 2 During my research I felt that my Logo was no good so I have decided to make a simple, but effective logo as the background is lots of different Turkish Delights that I washed out on Format Picture so that you can see the writing on top of it.
