    6. 6. Online Assessment Tool • Fun Quiz (16 plus questions • Not about how many answers you get right or wrong • Not Levels, But Steps from 1 to 6 from your progression • A measurement of your results • Equal to Level 2 NCEA National Certificate of Education Achievement Credits & Maths

When you come to Whirikoka computer lab • Log on to a computer and the assessment tool • You will be issued 2 codes – Reading & Numeracy • Log in (name check prompt) • Start Practise if you wish too or start Assessment • Your Kaiako / tutor or myself may assist you in understanding, not to give the answer  • You can use pen and paper to help you • When completed, you will see what step you have achieved from Step 1 to Step 6
    18. 18. Tips for a GR8 outcome • Read to understand • Take your time • Don’t Guess • You can pause, take a break, log in and resume • Half Hour for each code is an average time, take longer if you wish too  • Ask if you need help
