Janice Kinsinger summarized the results of ICC's first Career Closet Giveaway event held from April 25-29. The event collected far more career clothing donations than usual, filling over 3 vans. 86 students received 1 to 22 items each of free professional clothing and toiletries. Although evening hours were less attended, the 11am-1:30pm slots saw a steady stream of student shoppers. Remaining items were donated to a local abuse prevention center. Student feedback was very positive, thanking the college for the job-helping selection and idea. The giveaway was deemed a success in serving students and the community.
