Toyota of Clermont helps foster youth in the community!

  1. 1. Toyota of Clermont helps foster youth in the community! The new school year has already started for some families, and other students are still gearing up for the start of the new academic school year! Toyota of Clermont strives to help families and the community with not just offering affordable transportation options, but in other ways as well. We’ve recently teamed up with our sister store, Toyota of Orlando, and a non-profit organization called IMPOWER to try to help foster youth in the community get ready for the new school year! Toyota dealerships assists non-profit group! IMPOWER’s mission is to help young children in the foster care system, and also young adults who have aged out of the foster care program. By offering services such as counseling, places to live, and more, this charitable organization strives to give these young people the support and aide they need so that they can have a successful future. Just last year, our sister store Toyota of Orlando donated a 2013 Toyota Sienna to IMPOWER through Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program. IMPOWER now uses this vehicle to help provide valuable services to the youth they help, including taking them to school, doctor’s

Last Christmas, our sister store also helped run a Holiday Drive for this organization and collected items to donate to them so these young people would have presents to enjoy during the holiday season. Help foster youth prepare for the new school year! Through a Back to School Supplies Drive, Toyota of Clermont and Toyota of Orlando are now working together to collect items to donate to IMPOWER and the young people they help. All donations and proceeds go directly to this organization and the young people they assist. Many of these young adults either have families who are unable to provide them the school supplies that are needed, or are on their own and have to find a way to afford these items themselves. IMPOWER’s goal is to help as many of these young people that they can, which is where both us and the community can assist! By coming together, we can help provide many of the items these young scholars need and help them have a successful school year! A little bit goes a long way, and every contribution helps. Some of the materials that are needed include:  Backpacks  #2 Pencils  Pencil Boxes  Erasers  Spiral Notebooks  Folders (3-prong, pocket, and 3-ring)  Post-it Notes  Highlighters and Colored Pencils  Rulers and Protractors Don’t forget that there’s more than one convenient location you can visit to drop off any donations you’d like to make! Toyota of Orlando is located right off of I-4 at 3575 Vineland Rd near the Mall of Millenia and stay open until 10:00 pm every night! If you happen to be on the west side of town, you can always stop by our location, too. We’re found just west of the Florida Turnpike at 16851 State Road 50, and are also open until 10:00 pm every day. Don’t forget that we’re only collecting supplies through August 15th , so stop by either our dealership or our sister store to donate! Google
