  1. 1. My Town CryerMay, 2010By Tom Cryer, Broker Associate @ The Kentwood CompaniesWhat’s New @ MyTownCryerWhat’s News @ The Kentwood CompaniesProperty Profiles of the MonthMyTownCryer Concierge ServicesCommunity SpotlightWhat’s New, What’s Hot, What’s HappeningFamily HappeningsDenver Market Watch 2009Oh, BTW…What’s New @ MyTownCryerLet’s face it; there is no one reading this newsletter that doesn’t know of someone who has lost a job, a house or money on Wall Street. In the last 24 months, I’ve run across several who have lost on all three fronts. Since the tension point of the bubble in 2007, we have all endured incredible areas of distress in our lives. My kids have told me stories of friends who had to change schools and delay school due to financial stress. We are all in the same boat. Every foreclosure in your neighborhood is impactful on your own home’s value. It is clear at this point few if any homes reside in a community that has not experienced a “short sale”, a foreclosure sale or a deed in lieu to the lender during this window of time. What I would like to address here is simple. If you, someone you know or even a neighbor looks to be in financial trouble, there are remedies for the financial burden of home ownership. Recent legislation makes loan modifications, short sales to the lender and even the deed in lieu of foreclosure process much more palatable. Please, pick up the phone and call me. Even if the property or party is in another state, there are remedies. We have a wealth of services to assist. You are not alone in this game of life.If you just need a more positive outlook on things to come, take a look at this list of great things happening in and around Denver! What’s News @ the Kentwood CompaniesThis is a really exciting time for the Kentwood Companies.  It is 29 years since we placed the first Kentwood yard sign. We are now embarking on a new era with a beautiful new yard sign.  For the next three weeks you will begin to see the old signs go down and the new appear in the yards of our listings.   This new design just continues to reinforce our strong image in the Denver Real Estate market. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we install almost 1000 signs!Property Profiles of the Month1166 S. Saint Paul St. Denver, CO 80210Fabulous Home On A Great Block! Ron took care of our house 17+ years ago and it all still works and we still enjoy his work every day. If you are asking yourself these questions, you need to call Ron Davis. Are you a cable or Dish guy? Do you bundle? Are you using any of the Vonage type providers? Cable is just so expensive for what you get! What are your thoughts on pricing cable vs. dish? How do I play my iPhone through my home system? If any of these questions have hit you dead on, give Ron Davis a call at: (303) 949-8202 or Email at: Community Spotlight - Greenwood Village, CO.One of the most desirable communities to live, raise a family, start a career, retire, operate a business, enjoy a lunch with friends, or have a fabulous evening out.
