  3. 3. BIOGRAPHIESSharon Pratt:Gry Tina Tinde: Gry Tina Tinde joined the Inter-AmericanDevelopment Bank in May 2009 as Diversity Advisor in HumanResources. She developed a diversity strategy and held adiversity conference in November 09, which produced 10recommendations for implementation. Tina is coordinating thiswork. From 2004-09 Tina was special advisor on genderissues to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) inGeneva, where she set up a fundraising program for refugees:Women Leading for Livelihoods. Tina has a masters degree inanthropology and journalism from the University of Montana,USA, a Diploma in Advanced European Studies from theCollege of Europe in Bruges, Belgium and a BA in politicalscience, French and German literature from the University ofOslo.Simone Williams: Simone Williams, General Counsel at GulfCoast Funds Management, brings nearly 10 years ofexperience representing international businesses and investorsin matters relating to U.S. Immigration and CorporateCompliance. Prior to joining GCFM, Ms. Williams worked as anAssociate for a prestigious international law firm in Toronto,Canada. Later she transferred to the headquarters of the firm’sGlobal Mobility Group in Washington, DC, where she workedon a variety of Global Migration and Compliance related issues.During her tenure in Washington DC, she representedbusinesses and investors on matters of importance regardingthe global transfer of company personnel. She advised clientson EB-5 Investor Visas, E Visas, O Visas, and several otherU.S Employment-Based visas for highly qualified individuals.Ms. Williams also represented companies to the Immigration &Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) and the Department ofHomeland Security (DHS) regarding inquiries and legal actions.For several companies, she provided guidance on establishinglegally sound best practices, policies, and training programs forimmigration and corporate compliance.Ms. Williams is amember of the American Bar Association, National BarAssociation, Law Society of Upper Canada and AmericanImmigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is a Member ofthe DC Bar, Maryland State Bar, and Ontario Bar. Ms. Williamsearned her Juris Doctor degree from Howard University School 3
