In the hours after a rapid-onset emergency social media can help responders get a better idea of what the situation is on the ground. In this workshop we looked at "Geofeedia", a tool that allows you to find geotagged rich.media assets in any geographic area. The second part of the workshop looks at how journalists or communications officers can verify photos found on social media.
