Contents Boiling: the change of state from liquid to gas.
Condensation: the change of state from-gas to liquid.
Freezing: the change of state from liquid to solid.
Melting: the change of state from solid to liquid.
Reversible change: change in a substance that can be
changed back again
*Changing in state:All matter is made up of tiny particles,
regardless of what state the matter is in. Every particle within these
materials has a certain amount of kinetic energy that allows the
particles to move. In a solid material, these particles are tightly
bonded together, with very limited movement, to form a single unit
that doesn't change shape or size. However, heating the solid up gives
the particles more energy that they can use to move, weakening the
bonds between the particles and gradually allowing the solid to turn
into a liquid.
In a liquid, the particles are still loosely bonded together, the bonds
are much more flexible, allowing the liquid to change shape
depending on what container it sits within. Heating the liquid up
further still gives the particles enough energy to break the bonds
between them almost entirely, allowing the liquid to become a gas.
In a gas, there are no bonds between the particles at all, so they can
move very freely, allowing the gas to change shape and volume
depending on the available space, and in many cases, their particles
are so diffused that they're invisible to the naked human eye

comes to leveling, so a substance

water is 100oC and the melting
point of ice is 0oC

Contents Boiling point: the temperature a substance boils at, and
changes from a liquid into a gas.
Melting point: the temperature a substancemelts at, and
changes from a solid into a liquid
Activity3: What is the difference between boilingand evaporation
As known, at boiling temperature the
solution will change to gas, but in
reality we will see some phenomena
that do not need at boiling temperature
liquid still change to gages such as:
drying wet clothes in the sun will dry
or show evaporating sea water.

Contents Evaporation: the change of state from liquid to gas that
happens below the boiling point.
=>Evaporation can happen atanytemperature below the
boiling point
Using the particle model to explain evaporation: When a
liquid evaporates some of the particles at the surface gain
enough energy to move away from the other particles. The
particles spread out. They are now in a gas. When a liquid
boils all the particles in the liquid gain enough energy to
move away from each other, so the liquid quickly changes
into a gas. Bubbles of gas form throughout the liquid. They
rise to the surface and then leave the liquid

Freezing: the change of state from liquid to solid. Melting: the change of state from solid to liquid. Reversible change: change in a substance that can be changed back again *Changing in state:All matter is made up of tiny particles, regardless of what state the matter is in. Every particle within these materials has a certain amount of kinetic energy that allows the particles to move. In a solid material, these particles are tightly bonded together, with very limited movement, to form a single unit that doesn't change shape or size. However, heating the solid up gives the particles more energy that they can use to move, weakening the bonds between the particles and gradually allowing the solid to turn into a liquid. In a liquid, the particles are still loosely bonded together, the bonds are much more flexible, allowing the liquid to change shape depending on what container it sits within. Heating the liquid up further still gives the particles enough energy to break the bonds between them almost entirely, allowing the liquid to become a gas.
