ACTIVITIES OF THE WORKING GROUP OBJECTIVES OF THE WORKING GROUP
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
• Modifying the reference architecture model
developed in the research project for the
utilization of Industrial Data Space in industry
together with representatives from the user
companies
• Verifying the different parts of the reference
architecture as the basis for the IDS ecosystem
• Owning the product backlog with prioritized
requirements for implementing in different
sprints which are developed by the research
project
• Implementing and testing sprint releases within
user companies
• Standardizing the IDS Connector in a DIN SPEC
procedure
The working group architecture aims the
development of business, security, data &
service and software architecture. Furthermore,
the working group takes responsibility for the
standardization of the main software
component the IDS Connector.

INDUSTRIAL DATA SPACE – THIS IS OUR MISSION: MISSION STATEMENT The INDUSTRIAL DATA SPACE ASSOCIATION defines the basic conditions and governance for a reference architecture and interfaces with the objective of setting up an international standard. INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS This standard is actively developed and updated on the basis of use cases. USE CASES INDUSTRIAL DATA SPACE stands for secure data exchange between companies in which the data provider is always the owner of that data and still keeps control over the use of their data. SECURE DATA EXCHANGE It forms the basis for a variety of certifiable software solutions, smart services and business models, the development of which is encouraged by the association.
