  4. 4. In 2011, Principal Pam Sica recognized the detrimental effect summer learning loss has on every student and the cumulative effect it has on her most at-risk students. Principal Sica contacted ThinkStretch to help students in grades K-4 combat their summer brain drain and promote a community of learning at Abbot. www.thinkstretch.com
