NASDAQ was up by 0.64% & Dow Jones Industrial Avg. was up by 0.63%.
Sensex gained 75.01pts@20039.04; Nifty gained 25.20pts@6,064.40. Sensex rose on
Friday, led by gains in state-owned oil and gas companies such as ONGC, which surged
for a second consecutive session after the government's diesel price hike was seen
reducing their subsidy burden. Also ITC & HDFC Bank reported strong growth numbers.
