  1. 1. Social Changes By Dom’s Group 1920's

Flappers <ul><li>The flappers where the name given to women who did not follow the normal dress code. </li></ul><ul><li>They where the rebels of the time </li></ul><ul><li>They where women who love to break the rules like, drinking alcohol, and showing some skin (mainly legs). </li></ul><ul><li>Flappers also did not care about what there parents said, they wanted to defy them. </li></ul>

Prohibition <ul><li>At this point in time drinking alcoholic beverages was against the law. </li></ul><ul><li>The group of people the blame for this was the women, not the flappers. </li></ul><ul><li>This law made mobsters more money than ever. </li></ul><ul><li>Places that sold these illegal beverages where called “speakeasy”. </li></ul>
  4. 4. JAZZ <ul><li>At the time when people wanted to hang out, or party the place they would go to, would be a Jazz club. </li></ul><ul><li>Jazz was a new kind of music, made for fast dancing and fun partying. </li></ul><ul><li>Jazz brought together black and white music styles. </li></ul>
