  4. 4. PLANNING Main Goals for the event: 1. Bring as many first year students as possible into the library 2. Move students around the first floor 3. Encourage students to meet the library staff
  5. 5. PLANNING CONT. By the end of the course we wanted students to know: 1. Where to check out materials 2. Where the librarians’ offices are located 3. Where to go if they need help with their writing 4. Where they could find support for their research
