Question 1 – Do you like horror films?<br />The majority of the 10 people I have asked have said that they do like horror films. This reassures me that by making our film teaser trailer in a horror genre, they will be a fan of it and will appeal to that target market.<br />
Question 2 – How often do you watch horror films?<br />This result shows that most of the 10 people I questioned like to watch horror movies once a month. This at least shows me that people actually do go out and watch horror film which means they would be interested in our trailer.<br />
Question 3 – What is it about horror films that appeals to you?<br />These results show that most people are mostly like the action and storyline about horror films. This gives us an idea of what audience of this target market prefer and make our teaser trailer to reflect upon these two factors.<br />
Question 4 – Which is your favourite horror film?<br />This shows that Saw the film was the most favourite among the other options. However, the results were close. This also shows that our film trailer idea should be similar to Saw or Final Destination as well as some references from Resident Evil to ensure that the target market will enjoy our trailer.<br />
Question 5 – What features in a trailer attracts you to want to watch the film?<br />There has been many mixed response to this question from all 10 people that completed my questionnaire.<br />Answers include:<br /><ul><li>How it shows some of the plot but not enough to get the entire plot.
Sound effects and the unexpected.</li></ul>This gave me a lot of ideas on what features I should have in my film trailer in order for people to be intrigued by it.<br />
Question 6 – Would you be interested in watching a film about a school getting infected from a virus and turning all students into zombies leaving one survivor? Give reason for your answer<br />For this question there were also some mixed responses including:<br /><ul><li> Yes, it’s sick.
Yes, because it sounds like my type of movie and has a good storyline.</li></ul>These answers made me more enthusiastic about our trailer because this gives us feedback in a way about our film idea. The majority of the 10 people liked the idea.<br />
