17. EFFICIENT MARKETING PLAN:
o Define your clients. Be goal-oriented. Use the right social media (Instagram,
Facebook, Twitter, Blog, LinkedIn), Newsletter, art magazines, art fairs, gallery
openings, art courses etc.
o Offline marketing plan is not recommended for independent artists due to the
costs, it is more for institutional entities (galleries, auction houses…)
o Don´t try to find your art buyers (galleries, auction houses, art dealers). Keep on
working on creating the art with the unique style that you truly believe in, your
clients will discover you at the right place and time.
o Always work with people who are smarter and more experienced than you.

o MAKE FRIENDS WITH JOURNALISTS AND ART WRITERS
