Two purpose-built optic fibre jointer trucks have been delivered to Telstra’s Network Construction team.

A total of five will be delivered by the end of this year and all will have been equipped to enter and perform work on mine sites.

  10. 10. POWER: The truck receives 12 volt power from solar panels fitted to the roof, the truck’s alternator, and the truck’s auxiliary batteries via a voltage reducer. A 6kVa generator is permanently mounted to the chassis and means that when available, mains power will provide 240 volt power.<br />
