College Game<br />Premise<br />The object of the game is to navigate DIT hallways dropping off assignments within the time limit<br />Gameplay<br />Third person game, player must choose most efficient route to save time, whilst avoiding obstacles. The player has a number of items that can be used during each level<br />
    4. 4. The player has two meters that must be watched during play <br />Stamina & Stress<br />Stamina is used as the player moves around the maps. This can be replenished by using certain items<br />Stress builds up over time and increases when the player hits an obstacle<br /><ul><li>Obstacles include, wet floors, rubbish, first years, classmates
    5. 5. Stress decreases when objectives are met, or certain items are used</li></ul>If stamina bar or stress bar is decreased fully, the player moves at a very slow speed<br />The bars will slowly regenerate over time <br />

    8. 8. Distraction Game<br />Premise<br />The object of the game is to prevent distractions from reaching the gamer. The gamer must survive an onslaught during the time limit<br />Gameplay<br />The game is a point and click shooter, with the player using to mouse to shoot distractions as they try to interfere with the gamer<br />
    9. 9. The player must defend the gamer from distractions. Each distraction that gets through increases the distraction meter<br />If the meter fills before the end of the time limit, the gamer gets distracted and the player loses the level <br />As the levels progress, the distraction meter will fill up faster, while the distractions come quicker and in greater number<br />Successful hits increase the special counter, when full, can be used to empty the screen of distractions & reduce the distraction meter<br />

    12. 12. Attention Seekers<br />Premise <br />The object of the game is to defend the reader against waves of computer attacks using a small platoon of soldiers. The waves increase in size and intensity until the timer runs out<br />Gameplay<br />The player begins with 4 soldiers. Each soldier is semi independent, they can be controlled directly by the player, or can be set into different AI modes that affect their behaviour<br />
    13. 13. The player takes control of a 4 man team of <br />soldiers<br />Each soldier possesses a special weapon, a homing missile or bomb. These weapons can be used only once per level<br /><ul><li>Homing missile – homes in on enemies, instant kill
    14. 14. Bomb – causes damage to all enemies on screen at once</li></ul>Landscape is destructible/deformable. Computer attacks cause most damage, soldier specials also cause damage. Soldiers can use landscape as cover <br />
    15. 15. Soldiers have 3 AI modes that can be changed by the player as they chose<br />Manual – Whenever a soldier is selected, it automatically changed to manual mode. Player controls soldiers movements and aiming<br /><ul><li>Aggressive - Soldier gains a damage bonus, seeks out enemies, does not use intentionally use cover

    18. 18. Gig Game<br />Premise <br />The object of the game is to organise the afterparty. This is achieved by gathering the required number of party points<br />Gameplay<br />The player must navigate through the gig, talking to people and having fun, and collecting enough information and items to make the afterparty happen<br />

Before each gig, player starts with certain amount of money, which can be kept on its own or used to purchase items<br />There are 4 objectives that need to be completed each night for the afterparty to happen, each one is worth a different amount of points<br />The objectives are achieved by talking to people and persuading them to come. Different people bring different things to the party. Items can be spent bribing people to come or for information on who to talk to next<br />As player progresses through game, their success in previous missions gives them a reputation, as the players reputation increases, more conversation options are made available and the player can carry a greater number of items<br />

    22. 22. Music - a DJ must be found to play

Party - certain number of people need to be recruited, alcohol etc, transport</li></ul>Each completed objective gains party points, once the required number is reached, the afterparty can happen<br />Once all of these objectives are achieved, the level is won. Not everything needs to be achieved, but leaving out certain things will affect the quality of the party, and so, reputation gained will be affected.<br />

Cooking Game<br />Premise <br />The object of the game is to make money by preparing meals for your customers<br />Gameplay<br />The player must use the correct combination of ingredients, and being careful to time everything correctly so that the meal can be done within the time limit<br />

The player must follow the recipe and stay within the preparation time limit for each meal<br />If the time limit is exceeded, the customer will leave and the player will lose their money<br />The player has access to multiple workstations to prepare different meals simultaneously <br />
