About TechGirlz is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to reducing — and, we hope, ultimately eliminating — the gender gap in computer and other technology occupations. Fostering collaboration through our free, hands-on technology workshops, we aim to give middle-school girls hands-on experience with different kinds of technology and enable them to interact with women who have carved out successful careers in technology fields. So far, 400 girls have taken part in our workshops, which we call TechShopz, as well as the annual TechGirlz Entrepreneur Summer Camp.
