1. Cluster 2 continues to support 2 active studies and meanwhile has organised 4 meetings to cover new
topics in and around Spectrum Access and Use
 2 studies commissioned under Cluster 2: Future of License Exempt Spectrum and
Licensed Shared Access
 May 27th - Draft overview meeting on the above 2 reports with indications for key
areas to address (see separate slides on Studies)
 July 9th - Dynamic Spectrum Access meeting - hosted by DTG and with speakers
from DTG, SkyTV, Arqiva and Plum Consulting - excellent debate around PMSE and
DTT
 Sept 9th (was June 30th) - Public - Private Sharing (can it be made to work?) - with
participants from MoD, Ofcom, JRC (National Grid) and Network Rail
 Nov 16th - mmWave, 20GHz through 80GHz, Hope to have representatives from a)
Tier 1 Vendor, b) ETSI ISG mWT group, c) 5GIC and d) Microwave vendor
 July and Sept- 2 Studies formal presentation to public/press etc
From the July 9th meeting there may well be further discussion on PMSE regards spectrum
access/use as a cross industry action (Q4 '15/Q1 '16) and DTT where there are many areas to be
discussed/agreed prior to any discussion on future spectrum access
