  • Planning the podcast will drive the rest of the podcast production process because it will determine what are the most appropriate tools and strategies to use in the other steps.
  • Show notes page for the podcast is an essential to the sharing and promotion of your podcast since that is the page that is most likely to be indexed and linked to by search engines and referrers.
  • Podcast subscription rates are like open rates in email, they are a great tool for benchmarks but they aren’t all that accurate. Consider using more than one tool to be able to compare the numbers Also measure your download against the site visits and links that people are clicking through on your show notes page
