  1. 1. Directions<br />This template is designed as a guide for your final project. It includes the minimum information that is required. Feel free to be creative! Include photos, video, etc. to tell your story.<br />After completing all of your slides, you need to narrate the presentation. Use your slides as a guide while YOU tell the story.<br />After you finish narrating, upload to http://www.slideshare.net/ and post the link in the ASSIGNMENT section of your course under Teachers in Action Service Project.<br />This is a lengthy process. Do NOT wait until the last minute. Your project MUST be narrated and uploaded by the deadline.<br />In addition to submitting it for course credit, you might share your completed project with the agency or group with whom you worked or upload to the serve.gov website.<br />

  3. 3. Early Perceptions<br />On this slide sum up your thoughts/feelings going into the service-learning project. Add this content after completing the “Understanding Differences” module on the Teachers in Action site!<br />You can use any image on the slide and narrate your reflection. Does not have to be written.<br />

Introduction to the Setting<br />This section should present the agency, school, community, etc. Students will present this information visually in the form of photos (with descriptive captions). <br />If multiple sites are visited, the student should include sample from multiple sites or focus on the environment where the most hours were completed. <br />

Demographics<br />Use this page for visual representations only<br />Provide photos of primary individuals (be sure to get permission before taking any pictures; anything on website is public domain and can be used). Use “mood shots” that don’t include a person’s face if necessary!<br />Bullets, charts, graphs, and pictures (only with permission) can be effective in delivering this information.<br />
