Courses Available Year-round <ul><li>General courses are designed for students at all levels of English and our aim is to improve fluency and accuracy in English whatever their starting level. Students can choose to prepare for recognised English examinations such as Cambridge, IELTS,TIE, TOEIC, TOEFL, London Chamber of Commerce or Pitman examinations. </li></ul>

Junior Winter Programme <ul><li>It is offered from September to May and is designed for groups of young students between the ages of 12 and 17.It combines expert English Language tuition with an optional programme of extra-curricular activities suitable for this age group and students are given the opportunity to practise the English language in a wide variety of contexts. </li></ul>

Accommodation <ul><li>Host Family </li></ul><ul><li>Accommodation is offered on a paying-guest basis with carefully selected families.The tradition of hositality is strong in Ireland and we have built up relationships with host families over the yaers where our students can experience Irish Family Life at first hand and practise English naturally in everyday situations. </li></ul>
  13. 14. Residential Accommodation <ul><li>Situted in the spacious grounds of St. Raphaela School,can accommodate up 50 students sharing. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the residence has two large lounges, a kitchen ,dining-room and a study room, plus laundry facilities.There is an exellent bus service between Stillogran and the city centre and the Luas connrcts our residence to our year round adult centre Palmerston Park. </li></ul>
  14. 15. Year-Round Social Programme <ul><li>For our year-round courses we organise a weekly programme outside of classes. It includes a daily film shown in the school, access to local sports club at reduced rates, guidede visits to places of cultural or historical interest, talks given by guest speakers and evenings at characteristics pubs feturing Irish music and dancing. </li></ul>
  15. 16. Summer Social Programme <ul><li>Our Summer Courses are designed for those students who wish to combine English language with sports, holiday and cultural activities. It includes five afternoon and two evening activities each week. There are separate activity programmes for our junior and senior students. </li></ul>

General Information <ul><li>Visa Requirements </li></ul><ul><li>Students from EU countries do not need a visa to enter Ireland.The others should check with their nearest Irih embassy. </li></ul><ul><li>Travel to Dublin </li></ul><ul><li>Dublin is less than an hour by plane.The shortest sea journey from Britain takes under three hours. </li></ul><ul><li>Arrival and Transfer </li></ul><ul><li>Students can be transferred to their accommodatoin by a representative from the Institute at an additional charge. Alternatively, students can take a taxi by themselves. </li></ul>
  17. 18. General Information <ul><li>Medical and Travel Insurance </li></ul><ul><li>Students travelling from EU countries should bring their Health Insurance Card with them. Medical Insurance for non EU students can be arranged by the Institute </li></ul><ul><li>Climate </li></ul><ul><li>Ireland has a variable but temperate climate and weather extremes are rare. However it is advised to bring a raincoat or umbrella. </li></ul><ul><li>School Holidays </li></ul><ul><li>The Institute remains open all year except for two weeks at Christmas and on official public holidays </li></ul>
