Invoicing:
• Ambit Energy does not generate an invoice
• The Customer will receive an invoice from their delivery provider

confirm whether or not they can switch to Ambit Energy and continue to receive the
benefits associated with that discount program.

11. OHIO TPV
Third Party Verification:
Third Party Verification (TPV) is a process that confirms the Customer’s request to switch their service to Ambit
Energy. TPV is required for each service address enrolled and must be completed by the primary account holder.
Customers can wait to be contacted by a TPV agent or they can call in to (800) 506-3151. TPV must be completed
in order for the switch request to generate.
Verification Process:
The TPV agent will verify the following information with the Customer:
• Customer Name: First and last name of the primary account holder.
• Start Date: TPV Agent will verify the date of the enrollment and will advise that service will initiate in 12 – 45
calendar days.
• Service Address: The location that is switching to ambit
• Ambit product selected: Variable or Term plan along with the price of the product plan selected.
• Contract Termination Date: The product plan expiration date.
Please Note: The contract date provided during TPV is an estimated date and could be up to 45 days from the date quoted.
• Authorization: “Do you understand that Ambit Energy will be the supplier of your electric service”
Rescission:
Customers have the right to cancel their agreement within seven (7) calendar days. If a Customer cancels service
with Ambit Energy without choosing a new provider, the supply portion of the bill will revert back to the incumbent.
12. OHIO Free Energy
Our popular Free Energy Program is reducing electric bills for Customers & Consultants!
• Customers – must maintain 15 energized referral Customers who have received at least one
invoice and are not in treatment. Each Customer has their own free enrollment site for referrals
- A#.joinambit.com.
• Consultants – must maintain 15 energized Customers who have received at least one invoice
and are not in treatment! These Customers cannot be referrals of another account.
• Calculations are based on the average daily energy cost of each referral Customer. This
maximizes the amount of Free Energy earned and accommodates all bill schedules.
• The Free Energy referral credit is paid out in the form of a check.
• Referral Customers will not contribute toward Free Energy if they have a past due balance on
their account.
