  4. 4. Original Activity: • Optional self guided walk during Orientation Week • Paper map or Google Map trail • No further resources or information • Not contextualised
  5. 5. Reinvigorated Walk Down George Street • Included in LLB101 Curriculum • Small group task + Collaborative learning + Fun and engagement + Build peer relationships • Video with highlights of each location • Extensive links to related online content • Related to assessment • Discussed in tutorials • Hosted on Blackboard Community Site
  6. 6. Blackboard Learning Module Questions – directly related to online quiz assessment Trivia – bonus, history or general interest Resources – relevant links & textbook readings Tasks – at each site, sometimes take a selfie Embedded video hosted on YouTube
  7. 7. Learning Designer supervised IT Capstone Project Team 5 third year students: 3 x Developer, 1 x Project Manager, 1 x Graphic/Visual Designer
  8. 8. Students sourced development tools to suit their skills and meet project deliverables
