How we created content
We started creating lists in July 2014 in preparation for go-live for
Semester 1 2015.
Two teams:
▪ Acquisitions team, working from course profiles
▪ Digitisation Services team, working from courses with digitised
readings
What they have achieved as at end January:
▪ 1,920 lists
▪ 23,140 unique list items

We are migrating some 5000 digitised readings from Equella.

We are using the Blackboard building block this year, linking on
course code only.
Next year we hope we will be using the LTI integration.

1. Reading lists without digitised readings

Talis reports are merged, compared with Millennium records, and a
brief dummy marc record is created for each distinct record. Additions,
changes and deletions are catered for.
Marc record may have multiple 950 tags, one for each unique list that
it appears on.

on local bib number and replaces 950 B9 tags only.
