When we look at how we govern, manage and operate technology we find practices that can no longer keep up with the pace of change. The emergence of DevOps and Service Integration frameworks, such as SIAM, have gone some way to address this problem but organisations are still struggling to successfully adopt and apply these techniques.
At the same time the business landscape has been reshaped by digital and driven by ever more empowered customers. Technology is now embedded in our lives and our work and we use it to create personal “ecosystems of value” by dynamically selecting and integrating services to meet our desired outcomes and experiences.
This presentation will discuss the implications of these changes on businesses, technology management and technology architectures. It will also provide a glimpse into the future and the potential impact on Service Management and the IT organisation.
