1. Spectral Footprint Kleer has the smallest spectral footprint, requiring only 3MHz. This is small enough to fit between adjacent WiFi channels. 2. Channel Selection Kleer’s technology can select from any of 16 different 3MHz channels spread across the 2.4GHz spectrum and dynamically switch between them while audio continues to play. Even in high interference environments it has the best chance of finding enough available spectrum to maintain the continuous flow of music. WR700 Advantages – No Audio “Drops” Kleer ™ Wireless Technology Advantage Users want the same quality audio quality from wireless headphones that they get from a wired version. The proprietary Kleer technology integrated into the WR700s delivers. Lossless, uncompromised stereo sound provides a superior listening experience. For any wireless audio application, it comes down to two things; how much spectrum does your radio need (spectral footprint), and how fast can it find sufficient unoccupied spectrum? Vs WiFi A WiFi channel consumes about 24MHz out of the ~80MHz available in the 2.4GHz spectrum. However, WiFi is generally used for data and when WiFi experiences interference, it just stops transmitting and waits for the interference to go away. Not a problem when web-surfing. But if you do that when streaming audio, your music goes away as well!
Vs. Other Wireless Technologies WR700 Advantages – Uncompressed Audio Kleer Wireless technology should not be the limiting factor for audio quality. Kleer™ transmits lossless 16-bit, 44KHz-sampled digital audio, the same quality that is recorded on a CD. The lossless compression used in the WR700s only eliminates redundancy from the audio stream such that no information is lost. Bluetooth Bluetooth™ compresses the audio prior to transmission using lossy compression. Relatively high compression ratios can be achieved at the expense of audio quality and at the cost of complexity and power consumption. You can hear the difference. Bluetooth™ audio sounds muddy because many of the high frequencies have been eliminated.
Share the Music, Not the Headphones Kleer’s Listen In™ technology enables users to share the listening experience by having up to four wireless headphones listening simultaneously to the same audio source. Simply plug the included transmitter into the 3.5mm headphone port of any media player including iPods/iPhones, laptops and stereo systems and sync all headphones to the source. WR700 Advantages – Point to Multi-Point
