  7. 7. In your current ministry setting, what is the one thing you are most proud of? That is, what do you do? Not, how many do it?
  8. 8. ADVOCACY Ministry which focuses on standing up for, or on behalf of, others. Ex. – Guardian ad litum
  9. 9. CARE Ministry which focuses on providing care to a particular population. Ex. – after school care and tutoring programs
  10. 10. COMPANIONSHIP Ministry which focuses on developing a relationship with others. Ex. – Big Brothers/Big Sisters
  11. 11. EQUIPPING Ministry which focuses on developing the skills of the other to do ministry Ex. – ELCA’s YAGM program

AFFIRMATION OF BAPTISM Because I am baptized I will: live among God’s faithful people, hear the word of God and share in the Lord’s Supper, proclaim the good news of God in Christ through word and deed, serve all people, following the example of Jesus, and strive for justice and peace in all the earth.
