  2. 2. Part 1 : Causes <ul><ul><li>The global warming causes the smelting of glaciers, if the temperature of Groenland rises of 3°C, the sea level will rise of 1m . </li></ul></ul>
  3. 3. 1 st cause: the termal dilatation <ul><li>Between 1880 and 2000 , the sea level has risen of 12 cm
  4. 4. Causes - THERMAL DILATION : the dilatation is the expansion of the volume of a body caused by its heating. </li></ul>

  6. 6. Part 2 : consequences <ul><li>Floods of cities
  7. 7. The dispariton of local animals
  8. 8. Climate changes ( hurricanes, cyclones...) </li></ul>

Part 3 : how avoid the rise of the sea <ul><li>First, the best way to stop the melting of glaces , so to stop the rise of sea is to stop global warming: change customs and try to limite the emmision of co² as we all try to do </li></ul><ul><li>Second , countries must respect the conditions of the «  protocole of Kyoto » </li></ul>
