Mechanical Research & Development Engineer at American MITSUBA Corporation, Novi July 2014 –Present
• Leading the development of Wiper systems for new HONDA vehicles, designing the product according to the customer
requirements and company manufacturing standards. Trying to achieve the cheapest yet satisfying solution.
• Using CATIA V5, FEA analysis and gaining practical knowledge about Manufacturing Processes such as Die Casting.
Intern at A2B Bikeshare, Ann Arbor January 2014 - May 2014
• Worked as a mechanical intern designing various components of a bicycle for the purpose of a green bike sharing system.
• Learnt a way to tackle with market economics and gained knowledge about Solar Technology, time management skills,
product development and designing, and coordinating resource allocation for greater efficiency.
Robotic Exploration in Space Team, S3FL (University of Michigan) October 2013 - May 2014
• Part of the Mechanical design team, worked on the control system and overall design of the Rover, which will be going to
NASA on May 17, 2015, for a competition.
• Gained skills at team work, risk management and problem solving; got experience in coding micro-controllers like
Arduino, working in a machine shop and earning skills at milling, lathing, drilling and precision measurement.
Design and Manufacturing (I, II & Senior Design III) August 2012 - April 2014
• Designed, manufactured and built a four-bar linkage system to help kids on wheelchair. Made a mechanical automatic car
to perform a specific task and compete in an arena war.
• Worked in teams of members ranging from 3 to 8 engineers from different disciplines and learnt the value of team work.
• Interacted with real customers to solve product design problems, trying to satisfy their requirements while keeping in touch
with the reality and limits of actual factory production.
• For my Senior Design I built an assistive device to prevent fall for low-vision people, created a mechanism that detects
slippery surfaces, obstacles up to waist level and bumps on the road along with providing distance perception for better
coordination. Gained skills in programming and worked on many electronics and sensor devices.

• Performed System Identification on the robots to predict their behavior to make them suitable for a manufacturing space.
