I like to consider myself an "education entrepreneur." I have focused on creating educational programs, growing them, staffing them, recruiting for them, and leading them. I have built several successful study abroad programs and helped design and build the online MBA program at Southern Illinois University (currently ranked #34 online MBA program, US News and World Report, 2016). I invest in small businesses and every course I teach is designed as problem-based learning, linking students to small business or non-profit projects. I create practical courses for students, requiring certifications for social media and digital analytics courses.
