  5. 5. HISTORY OF TEXTILES  Textile identified by archaeologists is at the Dzudzuana Cave in the Georgia.  Flax fibers was discovered had been twisted,cut,dyed a range of colors.

  10. 10. INTRODUCTION TO YARN PRODUCTION  Spinning is the major part of the textile manufacturing process where three types of fibers are converted into yarn,fabrics,finishing process such as bleaching to become textiles.

  12. 12. Textile fabrics  The term fabric can be defined as a planner structure by interlaced/interloped yarns or fibers made by interlocking fibers.
  13. 13. TYPES OF FABRIC  Woven fabric:Woven fabrics are made by using two or more sets of yarn interlaced at right angles to each other.
  14. 14. TYPES OF FABRIC  Knitted fabric:Knitted fabric are made by intermeshing of loops of yarn and can be composed of any kind of fiber, yarn and industrial end-uses.
  15. 15. TEXTILE WET PROCESSING  Wet processing of textiles consumes huge quantity of water and the quality of the process largely depends on the water quality.
