  10. 10. Reproduction<br /><ul><li>Now with you knowing all the parts of the Female Reproductive system I will tell u how reproduction happen and what it takes to you sitting here today.
  11. 11. Basically every 28 days a female who has passed the puberty phase have an egg released from the ovaries keep in mind that the eggs do have to be matured before released from ovary.
  12. 12. Once released from the ovary the egg goes down into the fallopian tube when that happen the uterus gets ready for fertilization.
  13. 13. The uterus preparation goes with the lining being soft and spongy and full of blood and fluids that also if the final part of the eggs maturity for fertilization.
  14. 14. If fertilization doesn't happen the uterus wall lining breaks down and exits the body as a menstrual flow.

  16. 16. A woman never runs out of eggs.  At birth she has between 1 and 2 million potential eggs and by puberty has 300,000 to 400,000 viable eggs that can be fertilized.
  17. 17.  The average lifespan of an egg once it is released from the ovary is 12-24 hours after which it either disintegrates or is flushed out of the body with the menstrual flow.  The average life span of the sperm is 2-3 days.
  18. 18. male reproductive system consists of penis, testicles, scrotum, ducts and accessory glands.  The system produces millions of sperm to transmit them to the female body to fertilize one egg.
  19. 19.  In the uterus, prior to birth, the baby’s body is covered by a thin layer of hair.  As soon as the baby is born that hair soon disappears.  The hair is called lanugo
