Project Summary - High E. coli counts indicate an elevated risk for illness - 7 monitoring sites on the Rivanna and Moormans Rivers - 90 samples collected over 13 months - Bacteria levels rise when stream flow is high - Presentations, training events, media coverage - More outreach materials in progress

Meet the community's need for more local bacteria data in the Rivanna watershed 2. Engage and educate the general public about local water health 3. Diversify the StreamWatch monitoring program to address pollution sources related to human health
