  3. 3. 3OBJECT 9 Use Native Analytics. Whether you’re using a Social Media Management tool or not, you should be checking the native analytics on each individual platform. This data is typically the best, most accurate you can access for free. Pro Tip: “Upgrade” your accounts to “Business” for increased analytics.   4. 4. 4OBJECT 9 “Write Once, Post Many” -Guy Kawasaki You don’t always have to tailor posts to each individual social network. Guy Kawasaki notes “no negative effects” in his experience posting identically across networks. Pro Tip: Check out SocialChamp.io, Guy’s favorite new tool.
  5. 5. 5OBJECT 9 Be Multifaceted. Go beyond your professional side. Humanize your brand. Ideas: LinkedIn Interests. Twitter Bio. Share your Snapchat. Share Lifestyle content. Pro Tip: Poll your followers on what they’d like to see from you.
  6. 6. 6OBJECT 9 Go (Facebook) Live! Guy declares Facebook Live the most powerful social mechanism for him today, generating 6-7x reach. Pro Tip: Try a MEVO camera and control from your iPad. Bonus Tip: Use Facebook Live for launching new apps. Triple Tip? Use Wirecast (see Tip 9)

  8. 8. 8OBJECT 9 Use Lightroom Adobe Lightroom is a great tool for social media managers and professional photographers alike. There’s a plugin to publish directly from Lightroom to Instagram including caption, hashtag, and photo. Guy says: “Life changing!” http://lrinstagram.com/
  9. 9. 9OBJECT 9 Organize your assets! Do what works best for you and your team(s)! Consider cross device functions, syncing, folders, # of users, etc. Pretty self-explanatory. Pro Tip: Use an asset management tool like Trello to organize your pictures, logos, designs, and various collateral. Other tools include Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, Basecamp, etc.
  10. 10. 10OBJECT 9 Use Wirecast for Streams Wirecast allows you to sync your live stream with custom preroll, titles, audio mixing, instant replays, etc., as well as browser capture and more. Guy recommends Wirecast as the best way (only way?) to do a produced show on Facebook Live.
