How to
Improve Team
Meetings?
Meeting Feedback. Rule #1
DON'T HESITATE TO ASK
The most important rule of a good meeting should sound like this: do not waste
your and your colleagues' time! The first question to ask when collecting
feedback is - was it interesting? If so, what parts did the audience like the most
and why? Use those insights to work on meetings length and quality.
Meeting Feedback. Rule #2
STAY OPEN FOR CHANGES
There’s always room for improvement, no matter how much you believe
your meetings are professional. Ask the participants if there is anything
they would like to change? What to remove? What are they missing?
Doing the upgrades can make regular meetings great again.
Meeting Feedback. Rule #3
TAKE CARE OF TECHNICAL ASPECTS
The pandemic has seen many meetings happening online. Are the
technical aspects of the session working fine? How is the sound, video
quality, or internet connection? Let your participants rate them, so you’ll
find out whether there are any technical troubles you should eliminate.
Meeting Feedback. Rule #4
CHOOSE THE BEST SPEAKERS
A good meeting attracts the attention of the audience. Often its
quality does not depend on the presented data but the speakers. Ask
colleagues to rate each of them. Find out who was the best speaker in
this meeting and let that person talk more next time.
Meeting Feedback. Rule #5
GIVE THE FLOOR TO OTHERS
Be open to your colleagues' suggestions. And give them a chance to speak
about them. While collecting feedback after a meeting, ask whether anyone
would like to present their topic next time and what it would be about.

Use online surveys to make your meetings shine among the others!
