In the age of technology and high-speed living, it's often too hard to step back, slow down, and breathe. Prioritizing regular interactions with nature is proven to have immense tangible benefits – like significantly reducing stress and increasing creativity – and, as Brooks' experience illustrates, it may be the intangible benefits that are the most valuable of all.
