STAMTEC, INC. • 931-393-5050 • 4160 Hillsboro Hwy • Manchester, TN 37355 • www.stamtec.com PURPOSE The system, which is built into the slide connection assemblies, relieves the pressure of a high tonnage overload in milliseconds and quickly stops the slide movement. Normal operation is resumed by inching the slide to top dead center, automatically reactivating the pump and re-pressurizing the system to the original settings. On all models, the limit switch lets the PLC or press control know the status of the pump. The bleeder screw helps eliminate any air or loss of suction that might occur.

Place the wrench in the bleeder screw and turn counter clockwise. Air and oil will seep out around the set screw. Once that’s done, tighten the screw back up and let the pump continue to pressurize. The process might need to be repeated two or three times.
