Five reasons as to why an African safari should be your next holiday

Article by Jack Jones

If you have never been on a safari to South Africa then you are truly missing out on something
special. There is an abundance of safari types that you can go on and so many different
locations to choose from; it all depends upon the kind of wildlife and scenery that you wish to
see. For instance there are walking safaris, self drive safaris, guided safaris and even luxurious
balloon safaris, each type of safari will show you a diverse point of view of the African wildlife.

                                                                                              1/3
On an African safari, there truly is something for everyone, weather you’re trying to go on
holiday with the family or on honeymoon a safari to South Africa is a truly magical experience.

With so many reasons to choose from I thought I would concentrate on five main reasons as to
why you quite simply have to go on safari in South Africa at least once in your lifetime.

Enthralling adventure – safari holidays are jam packed with things to see and do, enabling you
to see as much of Africa as possible. If you have a keen passion and love of adventure and fun
then you will never be bored on safari in Africa. With an abundance of safari packages
available, there is most certainly something for everyone’s needs.

Exquisite Scenery – escape the nine to five with an adventure of a lifetime on an African safari,
giving you totally different scenery. Rekindle your love for the outdoors, getting in touch with
nature in some of Mother Nature’s most stunning locations, far away from the stresses and
strains of modern life. Witness truly awe-inspiring scenery, Africa provides a haven for every
avid photographer with plenty of photo opportunities, with thousands of unforgettable photos of
the places, people and wildlife that you see on your African safari adventure.

Soothing – your African safari gives you the chance to rediscover relaxation, serenity and pure
natural beauty. Africa has some of the finest and truly breathtaking landscape in the entire
world. An African safari is an astonishing way to fully charge your batteries and explore unspoilt
places.

Wildlife – the vast majority of Africa and the world’s wildlife is facing extinction, an African safari
is imperative if you wish to witness Africa’s wild animals whilst you still can. It is here where you
will witness god’s supreme creatures wandering free in their natural habitat (compared to a
zoo); it is a truly breathtaking site. Why not embark on a walking safari and experience the
African bush at first hand, immersing you into the wilderness.

Something for everyone – no matter what type of holiday you normally go for, with an African
safari you will find that there is truly something for everyone, there romance for. Everyone loves
wildlife, which is why everyone should come and visit a safari park in Africa at least once in your
life time.
