2. How do you remove the tattoo?

Will the tattoo go completely?
This depends on the inks and colours used. Some respond better
to treatment than others, and more than one treatment is usually
necessary. Professional tattoos tend to require more treatments than
amateur tattoos.
Is it painful?
When the laser emits a short series of pulses on the surface of
the skin, it has a similar feeling to being lightly flicked. Anaesthetic
creams can be used, however most patients find there is little or no
discomfort during the procedure.
What after care do I receive?
It is important to keep the area clean for a few days following the
treatment. There may be some minor bleeding but this is minimal.
You will be treated with antibacterial cream and a dressing for
protection. If a scab forms, it is important to leave it to heal naturally
and not to attempt to remove it.
