This tutorial will introduce traditional users to the synchronous modeling environment in Solid Edge. By exploring the fundamentals of model creation, manipulation, and edits, the basic premise of Synchronous modeling can be understood by our Traditional users. This session communicates the functionality of the unique Synchronous tools and techniques that our new users already embrace. Come see how this history free modeling environment allows unprecedented editing of non-native parts. Comparisons to our Traditional features and workflows will be demonstrated in their Synchronous equivalent. Workflows will include model creation, using Ordered Features vs. Procedural Features, the user interface, Live Rules, Handles, 3D PMI Dimensions, and the Steering Wheel.
