INTRODUCTION o Renault India Pvt Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Renault S.A., France and currently offers six models in the Indian market. o Renault cars are manufactured at the manufacturing facility located in Chennai, with a capacity of 480,000 units per annum. o Sumit sawhney is the CEO of Renault India pvt ltd.
  4. 4. HISTORY  In February 2008, Renault-Nissan Alliance signs Memorandum of Understanding with Government of Tamil Nadu to set up a manufacturing plant in Oragadam near Chennai.  the first vehicle design studio set up by a foreign manufacturer in India.
  5. 5. MODELS  Renault sales commenced in May 2011 with these models– Fluence sedan Koleos SUV Duster Scala Pulse Lodgy

MILESTONES 2011  Renault launches its first car in India, the Fluence. 2012  Renault launches the Pulse and unveils the Duster at the New Delhi Auto Expo 2012.  Renault Scala launched in New Delhi. 2013  Inauguration of the new warehouse for the Renault Alliance International Parts Center (IPC) in Pune. 2014  Renault reaches landmark of 100,000 cars on Indian roads in less than 3 years of operation in India.

  14. 14. CONCLUSION  Renault India enjoys around 2% of market share currently.  To double the sales this year. Renault will be increasing its sales & service centers by the end of 2016 as sawhney said in economic times.  I will suggest duster to customer as it is a compact SUV.
