MBTI- Broad view  The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment is a psychometric questionnaire designed to measure psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions.  This was developed by Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Myers-Briggs, and they have extensively studied Carl Jung who had earlier developed this theory

  9. 9. The Limitations to MBTI  Can Be misused, like  to make excuses, not working with one another  Avoiding responsibilities  Being more flexible  Shouldn’t be used as a selection test for Job candidates  One’s type is not an excuse for inappropriate behavior
  10. 10. Where MBTI is used  Apple computers, GE, AT&T, Exxon, Citigroup, He wlett-Packard for management development programs, team building.  Can be used for Self Assessment- to how a person is to himself.
