  3. 3. YOG <ul><li>The great meaning of YOG is not merely a chance for youth from all over the world to compete over sports skill. It ’ s more about the sports spirits. It is to catch people ’ s attention and wake the awareness of the the importance of sports. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Swimming <ul><li>Swimming is one of the major Olympics items. It is also insanely popular among all age groups, especially teenagers. </li></ul><ul><li>It is also said to be the best sports to lose weight and keep fit. Your fat burn silently under water without you being sweaty. </li></ul><ul><li>It is also fun to play water involving games as you get familiar to our Mother Nature by simply splashing! </li></ul>
  5. 5. But … <ul><li>Is there anybody like me – a landlubber. </li></ul><ul><li>I always wonder what I should do when I go to a swimming pool with my friends. I don ’ t want to just stay in the baby pool and keep floating … </li></ul>

They are improving fitness with water exercise , preparing for water workouts , understanding the phase of a water workout , warming up and cooling down , benefiting from aerobic moves , strengthening and toning , intensifying workouts , creating a personal water workout , adding splash to workouts , specializing workout for special needs. There are both theory explanation and practical instruction. </li></ul>

Water Walking <ul><li>Water walk is one of the hundreds of water workouts you can do. </li></ul><ul><li>Stand upright, with your abdominal muscles firm and your buttocks contracted in order to brace your pelvic spine in a neutral position. Keep your shoulder blades down and back and your chest lifted. </li></ul><ul><li>Stride or jog forward 8 steps, then back 4 steps. </li></ul>

Water Walking <ul><li>Stay upright and maintain the stabilized neutral pelvic position throughout the exercise. </li></ul><ul><li>Slide relatively straight arms forward and back at your sides as you walk. </li></ul><ul><li>Use your arm in opposition to your legs: When you step forward with leg, slide your left arm forward and vice versa, palms facing your thighs. </li></ul>
  11. 12. Benefits <ul><li>Thus technique not only strengthens and tones muscles, but the action of synchronizing the alternate arms and legs keeps your torso upright while building improvements in your posture, balance,and coordination. </li></ul>
  12. 13. There are more: <ul><li>Pedal jog, pomp and circumstance, knee-lift jog or march, inner-thigh step-out, hamstring stretch, etc. </li></ul><ul><li>If you happen to have some equipment like old tennis racket, water exercise ball or paddles, there are more games that you can play! </li></ul>
